Individual Therapy

More Information:

Individual Therapy, also known as individual counseling, is a one-on-one session between a client and a therapist. Services are available for children, teens and adults. These sessions may take place in our office, in the client’s home, at their school, or through a tele-health appointment and focus on personal issues, healing emotional pain and working toward identifying and achieving personal goals. Sessions may also focus on:

  • Understanding, addressing and managing mental health symptoms
  • Developing and applying healthy coping skills
  • Working through stress, burnout, grief or trauma
  • Improving relationships and communication skills
  • Navigating major life transitions (e.g., divorce, career changes, parenthood)

Family Therapy

Family therapy, also known as family counseling, focuses on helping family members improve communication and strengthen relationships. Sessions may include:

  • Parents and children
  • Siblings
  • Extended family members
  • Blended family members
  • Friends
  • Anyone the client considers to be family

Marriage Therapy

More Information:

Marriage therapy, also known as couples counseling, supports married or committed partners to strengthen their relationship by addressing issues such as:

  • Emotional needs
  • Infidelity
  • Improving communication
  • Identifying and resolving conflicts
Group Therapy

More Information:

Group therapy is led by a therapist and includes a small number of people who are working

on similar issues.  A typical group may include 5 to 10 participants. Individuals may receive only

group therapy or both, group and individual therapy.

Types of group therapy may include:

  • Anger management
  • Grief and trauma
  • Parent training
  • Support or self-help group
  • Skill development
Medication Evaluation / Management

Although therapy can be highly effective, sometimes adding medication services can help improve treatment outcomes. Our providers conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine if medication services are needed, develop individualized treatment plans with our clients, and provide follow up appointments to monitor progress and make sure the medication is safe and effective.

Crisis Therapy
More Information:

Crisis therapy is a short term, immediate intervention for individuals experiencing a crisis. The purpose is to help stabilize the individual by identifying the immediate risk, developing a safety plan, and providing interventions to reduce emotional distress and assist with emotional regulation. If needed, referrals for ongoing services and support are also provided.

Case management services connect clients and families to resources to assist with recovery and improve their overall well-being.

Psychological Evaluation
More Information:

If you or a loved one is experiencing unexplained symptoms and has not received a diagnosis, a psychological evaluation can help identify emotional, behavioral or developmental disorders. It may also detect other conditions such as learning disabilities, anxiety or other mental health issues in children, teens and adults. Based on the results, treatment recommendations are given to address the individual’s unique needs and provide appropriate support.
